The Palisades Mall in West Nyack, New York, is not just any old mall - Completed in 1998, it's the 8th largest in the United States. With a Ferris Wheel, Ice Rink, Paintball arena, and 400+ stores - Boredom is simply not an option.
Find the perfect gift for everybody on your list... Throw the best kids party ever... Dazzle your senses in the giant Imax theater... And... Grab a date for some after hours fun!
On the west side of the complex are BJ's, Home Depot, Burlington Coat Factory, and Target stacked on top of each other.
Keep in mind that BJ's and Home Depot can not be accessed from inside the mall.
These 'big-box' stores have their own exterior entrances.
Macy's and JC Penny each use three levels.
If you don't use the parking garage, use parking lot A or E for quick access on the first floor.
On the first level is a Cheesecake Factory. (Use parking lot F)
I've been there with a large classroom sized group and the service was good, reasonable priced menu.
You can find tons of quality restaurants with attractive bars on Level 4 making it a good place to grab a drink too.
Level 4 stays open later (after 10 pm), and has more of an adult crowd at night.
Anything from Mexican, Wings, Ribs, Italian, Asian... It's all here. There's even an IHOP.
The food court is on level 3 and has just about anything you could want. There's also a Johnny Rockets (burgers and fries) on level 2.
On level 4 there is a movie theater, and an IMAX theater. To see a feature film in IMAX, like "Harry Potter," it'll cost between $13 and $18 depending on the show.
The Ferris Wheel and Carousel is on level 3 at both ends of the food court. The Ferris Wheel is only $2 and reaches 68 feet. Cheap Thrills!
David and Busters (level 4) is a one-stop shop for eating, drinking, playing Billiards, Arcades, and more! On Wednesdays this D&B has 1/2 price games and there is Happy Hour Mon-Fri from 4:30 to 7:00.
Lucky Strike is a bowling alley and lounge on level 4 that has food and drink.
If you're looking for a totally unique mall experience visit Vendetta Paintball on level 3. The facility is only open Thursday to Sunday. Prices start at $10 for quick play and it's also open to rent out for a party!
The Ice Rink (level 4) is open for public skating and for league use.
Get the group rates and throw an unforgettable birthday party!
If you just want to skate the cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children, and $3 for rentals. Call 845-353-4855 for public skating schedules.
There is also a Champs on level 3, and a Modell's and Sport's Authority on level 2 for clothing and gear.
And if you're still not tired after all that activity there is a New York Sports Club on level 3 - as if just walking around this mall wasn't exercise enough!
In addition to the highlights mentioned above there are tons of clothing and shoe stores as you might expect in the 10th largest mall in the United States. Everything from Armani Exchange to Payless Shoes!
The parking lot is easy to navigate. Use Palisades Center Drive and loop around the perimeter of the complex. Follow the signs for whatever store or restaurant you want!
There is also a free parking garage for all four levels of the Palisades mall. Simple!
